ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Lead - Consolidations in the monthly close and consolidation, become a subject matter expert with regards to BPC master data, currency translation, and consolidating eliminations.
  • Work towards demonstrating expertise and providing support to over 270 BPC end users, working with the business units, Corporate, & the CAG accounting and finance teams, provide training, encourage best practices, and help the Manager to drive continuous improvement.
  • Learn to perform monthly BPC master data maintenance, ensuring that all dimensions and members are properly updated across the various BPC models and support the FP&A function as it relates to the budget and forecast models and processes in BPC.
  • Help provide technical and process support for BPC upgrades and enhancements, by setting up the master data in the platform, providing training to users, and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth functionality of BPC.
  • Assist in the resolution of BPC change requests and incidents in an effective and timely manner and escalating to the Manager when warranted..
  • Participate in the coordination and support BPC projects based on an agreed project plan and attributes (change impact, tests, etc.)
  • Support the Lead to help ensure recurrent system maintenance (daily, monthly, and yearly scheduled activities) and escalate issues encountered to the Manager.
  • Keep documentation up to date and provide support related to BPC for the queries submitted by Internal Controls and External Auditors.
  • Support the Lead with maintaining the Legal/Tax BPC Organization rollup and financial reports at the direction of the Income Tax team
  • Support the Lead - Consolidations in conjunction with the Income Tax team regarding IRS or State audits
  • Support the maintenance of the account mapping tables between the CONSOL and IRIS BPC models to facilitate head office reporting and ensure data integrity.

Requisitos

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. (MUST-HAVE)
  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience in a public or private company environment.
  • Previous BPC administration experience is required. (MUST-HAVE)
  • Understanding of the end-to-end R2R processes with proven hands-on experience in GL accounting and reporting (MUST-HAVE)
  • Experience with and knowledge of IFRS. (MUST-HAVE)
  • English: Advanced level (MUST-HAVE)
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Google Suite platform experience is a plus.
  • ERP or other general ledger computer system experience.
  • Ability to work non-standard working hours when needed.

The candidate should be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, be an analytical thinker, have a strong background in accounting processes and data flows, and have a high level of ownership mindset.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00hs to 18:00hs.

Work Schedule: AMBA - Hybrid (2 days on-site x 3 days home-office), Interior - 100% remote.

Contract: Dependency relationship.

Offices: Munro, Province of Buenos Aires.

The Senior Analyst Consolidations role is a key participant in supporting the monthly close and consolidation, including help with the system maintenance of external/statutory consolidated financial statements, internal financial management reporting, and head office statutory financial statements primarily utilizing SAP’s Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) software under the guidance of the Manager. The Staff Support will assist the Manager as a central point of contact for the business units, Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting teams, the Central Accounting Group (CAG), and the ALABS BSC, providing reporting, administrative, and technical support related to the BPC processes and tools touching a wide range of tasks across a decentralized organization. Therefore the Staff Support - Consolidations is required to build an understanding of these tasks, aspire to exhibit a high level of ownership, and is recognized for financial / business expertise gained through a series of professional assignments demonstrating increasing responsibility working with BPC.
